Assembling and replacing SMD components is fundamental skill as you advance in your Electronics knowledge. This is another workshop part of the Electronics Learning Path.
Pre-requisites for this workshop are: Arduino 101, Arduino Barebones, Electronics 101 and PCB Design (you may attend without them, it's just harder)
This workshop will cover SMD fundamentals, component packages, SMD good practices, using an home-made Oven, re-positioning SMD parts with a hot-air station and using a soldering Iron.
The bulk of this workshop will be spent on hands-on activities using an SMD kit you'll put together during the class. Some parts will be soldered in the over, some by hand and - finally - some with the Hot air station.
If you have tools you want to use for this training, feel free to bring them.
Max class size of 5.
Upfront Payment required to attend this workshop!
Prices already include the Kit (board and parts)
