This workshop will show you the basics of how all CNC motion is accomplished. For those looking to build their own CNC mill,, laser engraver / cutter,, robot,, shop bot,, or any other controlled motion device,, This will show you how to create movement from machine code.

In this workshop,, we will go over:
- How to configure GRBL firmware for our application
- How to connect components to the Arduino
- How to interface to a GRBL shield
- How to tune a stepper driver
- How to configure GRBL parameters
- Very simple G-code

This workshop includes an Arduino,, a GRBL Shield,, 4 stepper drivers,, and a nema17 motor.

Bring your laptop with Arduino installed and a GRBL compatible G-code Sender. I prefer LaserGRBL for PC. Universal G-code Sender works on all platforms. If you need help installing any of these,, arrive a half hour early.
