Learn the tranquil art of boro stitching, also referred to as slow stitching, mindful stitching and similar to sashiko. Boro is a beautiful Japanese style of repairing/mending that lends itself easily to other styles of fiber art. In these crazy times we all need to slow down and relax, this class will help you achieve some of that and you'll have a beautiful fabric cuff/bracelet to remind you to stop and smell the roses. It will give you the skills to create beautifully repaired garments instead of throwing them away. Many of us are mindful of the importance of extending the life of our clothing and not contributing to the massive amount of unwanted used clothing plaguing the world.

All supplies are included, just bring yourself and get ready to relax.

Class fee - $45

Class is two hours
