You will need to order parts from the amazon links below or arrange with me to drop off a kit for $30. This will be an online class over Zoom. I suggest having 2 screens to use - One for the zoom,, and one for your workspace.

This workshop will show you the basics of how all CNC motion is accomplished. For those looking to build their own CNC mill,, laser engraver / cutter,, robot,, shop bot,, or any other controlled motion device,, This will show you how to create movement from machine code.

In this workshop,, we will go over:
- How to configure GRBL firmware for our application
- How to connect components to the Arduino
- How to interface to a GRBL shield
- How to configure GRBL parameters
- Very simple G-code

Have Arduino installed and a GRBL compatible G-code Sender. I prefer LaserGRBL for PC. Universal G-code Sender works on all platforms. If you need help installing any of these,, arrive a half hour early.

If you already took this workshop before and are still struggling,, please come to this one,, free of charge,, and ask all the questions you can think of.
