Laser Cutting 101: Beginning Cutting and Etching on a CO2 laser

This workshop covers introductory knowledge required to use the new CO2 laser and the new software we are using to control it. If you attend and successfully demonstrate knowledge you'll be certified for use*.

• Laser safety

• What can and can't be cut in the CO2 laser

• How to set up the laser

• How to import files into the control software

• Where to get wood and plastic for lasering
