Member cost: $50
Non member: $70
Do students need to bring any supplies?
Note taking supplies are encouraged, but not required.
Project materials will be provided.
What should students wear?
Required: Closed toed shoes.
Required: Long hair must be secured.
Required: No loose clothing or jewelry.
Strongly Recommended: Long Pants (that go over the tops of shoes).
Strongly Recommended: Closed front shirts. V-neck and front button up shirts can let sawdust in. Short or 3/4 sleeves are best, some long sleeves can be rolled up and that's fine.)
What about Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)?
Required: Eye safety. SnoCo does have face shields that students will use when actually turning, regular safety glasses are always a good choice in a shop all the time!
Required: Hearing protection. Ear plugs are best. Ear muffs may interfere with face shield operation. Turning is noisy but not as not as much as other woodshop machines.
Strongly Recommended: Dust mask.
We look forward to seeing you!
